The call will remain open until the second call for technical assistance applications has closed in late Spring 2026. Applications and CVs will be assessed regularly, and relevant applicants will be interviewed and further assessed to create a pool of experts tailored to the needs of the diverse beneficiaries.
Please note that candidates will be contacted depending on the needs of the beneficiaries. Applying for this call does not guarantee selection.
Delivery of the work
The experts will be expected to deliver technical assistance to the selected beneficiaries, so they should have expertise in at least one or more of the four core types of support: capacity-building, investment and financial support, advisory support, and stakeholder engagement support. The ‘Technical assistance call for proposals’ section above provides more details about these support categories.
Experts will be expected to speak English in addition to at least one other EU language(s).
If selected, the experts will be matched with a beneficiary to address their specific needs. They will be expected to deliver a certain number of working days, depending on the level of support the beneficiary is set to receive, and visit them at least once.
A handbook with information and procedures will be provided to the selected experts.
