CEAH is working to highlight the most effective citizen-led energy projects across the EU that can serve as replicable and transferable models and benchmarks for other citizen energy initiatives. Over three years, it will identify, assess, and promote 55 of the most successful examples of citizen energy in action, which can range from grassroots energy communities and citizen-led energy initiatives aimed at energy efficiency, awareness, or production, to local government supporting community-driven efforts.
CEAH will look at how innovative, inclusive, and impactful each project is, how it is financed, governed, and what policies helped it to become a success. These reports will be published here to help others develop inclusive, democratic, community-based projects, tailored to local needs, helping to accelerate an inclusive, citizen-led energy transition.
