CEAH announces new webinar series, which will provide a platform for Europe’s Energy Citizens to share their stories

The Citizen Energy Advisory Hub’s (CEAH) upcoming webinar series, ‘Citizen Energy Breakfast Sessions’, aims to facilitate knowledge exchange between community energy stakeholders.

This set of short, focused webinars is designed to share practical experiences and lessons learned from citizen energy initiatives across Europe. Each webinar will focus on a different topic and region, creating space for meaningful exchange between speakers and audience members with shared experiences and challenges.

The 60-minute sessions will include up to three presentations from local actors who have achieved success with a citizen energy project. They will also provide opportunities for the audience to engage with the speakers and each other to ask questions or share other real examples from communities and citizen actors working on citizen energy projects.

Annie Cousins, CEAH Communication team member, said: “These sessions will provide value to anyone interested in citizen-centred energy, whether they are just starting to explore the idea, already part of a project, or looking to connect with others working on similar initiatives.

It’s a chance to hear directly from people already making citizen energy happen, to find out what inspired them, how they got started, how they overcame barriers, and what advice they would give to others. They are informal, informative, and will cover a vast range of citizen energy topics.”

The series is open to members of the Citizen Energy Network, a free and growing community dedicated to knowledge-sharing, networking, and collaborating to drive citizen-centred energy solutions. Anyone can join the network in just a few minutes.

The first sessions will take place later this year, with details to be announced soon. Further information, including dates and how to register, will be available soon on the CEAH website.

To ensure broad access to knowledge, recordings of the speakers' presentations, excluding the Q&A sessions, will be made publicly available on the CEAH website.
