First Citizen Energy Breakfast Session webinar
The first Citizen Energy Breakfast Session webinar took place on Wednesday 8 October 2025. The recording below features a talk from Stefan Goemaere, a community worker with ‘SAAMO West-Flanders, Belgium. Stefanco-created the award-winning Papillon project with Bosch, helping low-income families rent energy-efficient appliances and reduce consumption. Papillon’s success has spread across Flanders, and Stefan continues to advocate for citizen energy at both regional and national levels.
Citizen Energy Breakfast Sessions are a series of interactive webinars spotlighting real-world experiences and lessons from citizen energy initiatives across Europe. Each session features a guest speaker, a fresh topic and region, and plenty of opportunities for audience participation and discussion.
Sessions are open to members of the Citizen Energy Network - a free, growing community for sharing knowledge, networking, and collaborating on citizen-focussed energy solutions. Anyone interested can join the network!
