BosaEnergia, based in Bosa, Italy, is a citizen-led renewable energy community initiative based in the historic town of Bosa in Sardinia. The project aims to promote the production, collective self-consumption and sharing of renewable energy while preserving the architectural heritage of the medieval centre. By prioritising solutions that avoid photovoltaic installations on protected buildings, the initiative balances environmental sustainability with cultural conservation.

3. Legal Framework and Governance Design
